Delivered 1,300 Boxes of Kimchi to Underprivileged Groups in the Region
Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters (Head Lee Sang-wook) donated 1,300 boxes of kimchi to vulnerable groups in the local community.

On the 23rd, Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters held the ‘Love Kimchi Sharing Festival’ at the Gori Sports Culture Center in Gijang-gun, Busan, delivering 1,300 boxes of kimchi (10 kg per box, worth approximately 49.4 million KRW) to 22 volunteer organizations located in Gijang-gun.
The kimchi provided that day was evenly distributed to disadvantaged groups such as basic livelihood security recipients’ households, low-income elderly living alone, and North Korean defectors in five towns and townships within Gijang-gun.
Additionally, on November 27, Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters participated in the ‘Love Kimchi Sharing Festival’ hosted by Busan City, sponsoring 11 million KRW and supporting 370 boxes of kimchi (5 kg per box) made that day to local children’s centers, free meal services, and welfare facilities in the district.
Lee Sang-wook, head of Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters, said, “We prepared this event to deliver warm support to those in need during the year-end,” adding, “I hope this small help will assist our neighbors in getting through the increasingly cold weather this winter.”
