Recently, a series of scholarship donations from local companies and associations have continued at the Damyang Scholarship Foundation. Even in the midst of this winter's cold wave, donations for scholarships to foster talent continue in Damyang-gun, Jeollanam-do, warming the local community.

According to the county on the 26th, a series of scholarship donations from local businesses and associations are ongoing. The Damyang Tennis Association donated 1.5 million won, Isan Steel Co., Ltd. donated 5 million won, Goseo Samhwa Resources Co., Ltd. donated 2 million won, and The Irum Damyang Jeil Funeral Hall donated 1 million won, respectively.

The Damyang Tennis Association, with 75 registered members, has been sweeping the top ranks at the Jeonnam Provincial Sports Festival, and through voluntary scholarship donations from its members, has reached a cumulative total of 5 million won.

Isan Steel and Goseo Samhwa Resources have contributed to the development of the local economy, and both companies have continued their annual donations, with cumulative scholarship contributions of 25 million won and 4 million won, respectively.

The Irum Damyang Jeil Funeral Hall not only leads the way in promoting a sound funeral culture in the region but has also been steadily donating scholarships since 2020.

Lee Byungno, chairman of the Damyang Scholarship Foundation, said, "The scholarships donated each year with such precious hearts will serve as a foundation for our local students to grow into outstanding talents," adding, "We will continue to build a stronger Damyang Scholarship Foundation so that local talents can devote themselves to achieving their big dreams."
