KCC announced on the 26th that it won the Grand Prize in the construction category at the ‘Web Award Korea 2024’.
‘Web Award Korea’ is the most prestigious web evaluation awards ceremony in Korea, recognizing the most innovative and excellent websites currently operating on wired and wireless platforms. The evaluation committee, consisting of 4,000 web award experts, selects outstanding websites. The committee judges based on six categories?design, user interface (UI) design, technology, content, service, and marketing?and 18 evaluation criteria to select exemplary cases.

KCC was able to win the grand prize thanks to the renewal of its homepage in July, featuring a structure optimized for information search and user-friendly design and content, which innovatively improved customer-centered information accessibility.
In fact, through the renewal, KCC established an integrated information center within the homepage and introduced an advanced search engine system, enabling customers to access desired information more quickly and efficiently.
Additionally, by applying a sophisticated black-and-white-based design, irregular layouts, and creative motion effects, KCC enhanced visual vitality and readability. Using stylish images and video content, it provides a more immersive experience, and by offering product information in an e-catalog format, it allows easy access on both PC and mobile environments, significantly improving convenience and usability for homepage visitors and customers.
As a result, the completely differentiated KCC homepage received excellent scores across all Web Award categories, especially earning high praise for originality, distinctiveness, intuitiveness, and ease of use in visual design and UI design aspects.
