Gyeonggi Province published the ‘Apartment Complex Management Audit Casebook’ on the 26th.
This casebook focuses on audit cases of apartment complex management conducted by Gyeonggi Province and its cities and counties from the second half of last year to the first half of this year. It categorizes common issues in apartment complex management by field, including ▲ operation of residents' representative meetings and election management committees ▲ execution of management fees and accounting ▲ selection of construction and service contractors ▲ long-term repair plans and use of long-term repair reserves ▲ storage and disclosure of materials.
In particular, it includes the latest Gyeonggi Province apartment complex management regulations, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport inquiry responses, and Ministry of Government Legislation legal interpretation cases, making it easy for both management personnel and residents to understand.
Since 2017, Gyeonggi Province has published the audit casebook annually and distributed it to approximately 4,800 apartment complexes subject to mandatory management within the province and to public officials in charge in 31 cities and counties.
Park Jong-il, head of the Apartment Complex Division of Gyeonggi Province, stated, "This casebook systematically organizes issues in apartment complex management and is expected to serve as a useful reference." He added, "We hope that problems that occur habitually in management sites will be improved and a proper management culture will be established."
