Seosan City in Chungnam Province has been selected as an 'Outstanding Institution for Procurement Service Utilization in 2024' by the Daejeon Regional Public Procurement Service, in recognition of its contribution to the advancement of procurement administration.

According to the city on the 25th, outstanding institutions are selected by comprehensively evaluating public institutions using the National Electronic Procurement System (Nara Jangteo) based on year-on-year performance growth rate, cooperation in procurement administration tasks, and contributions to the development of procurement projects.

By using Nara Jangteo, all information regarding the purchasing process is fully disclosed online, and the multiple preliminary price system preemptively blocks the possibility of disclosing the estimated price.

This ensures fairness and transparency in public institution contracts, and the city was highly praised for actively utilizing Nara Jangteo while emphasizing the fairness of contract procedures.
