[Weather] Christmas Cold Wave... Morning Low of Minus 10 Degrees

On Christmas Day, the 25th, the cold weather is expected to continue, with morning low temperatures dropping to around minus 10 degrees Celsius.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 24th, temperatures until tomorrow morning will be similar to or slightly lower than the average (morning low -9 to 2 degrees, daytime high 2 to 10 degrees).

With a cold wave advisory issued for the inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, morning temperatures are expected to be very cold, around minus 10 degrees Celsius, especially in the eastern Gyeonggi region, inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, and northern Chungbuk. Winds will also blow somewhat strongly, making the perceived temperature even lower.

The morning low temperatures will range from -10 to 3 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high temperatures will be between 3 and 11 degrees Celsius.

By major regions, the morning low temperatures are Seoul -3°C, Daejeon -2°C, Daegu -2°C, Jeonju -1°C, Gwangju -1°C, Busan 3°C, Chuncheon -10°C, Gangneung 2°C, Jeju 5°C, Ulleungdo and Dokdo 6°C.

The daytime high temperatures are Seoul 6°C, Daejeon 7°C, Daegu 7°C, Jeonju 8°C, Gwangju 8°C, Busan 10°C, Chuncheon 3°C, Gangneung 8°C, Jeju 13°C, Ulleungdo and Dokdo 9°C.
