This year's Christmas will be cloudy without any snowfall, and chilly weather is expected to continue through the morning.


According to the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration on the 24th, temperatures remained below freezing in the morning, making it cold, but the weather turned mostly clear in the afternoon.


In Gwangju and Jeonnam, instead of snow, there will be many clouds on the 25th, and the wind will blow slightly stronger, making it feel even colder.


The morning low temperatures are expected to be around -3 degrees Celsius in Haenam, -2 degrees in Naju, Damyang, Yeonggwang, Yeongam, and Hwasun, -1 degree in Gwangju, Muan, and Suncheon, 0 degrees in Gwangyang, 1 degree in Mokpo and Wando, and 2 degrees in Yeosu. The daytime highs will be 11 degrees in Gwangyang and Wando, 10 degrees in Suncheon and Haenam, 9 degrees in Mokpo, Muan, Yeosu, and Yeongam, and 8 degrees in Gwangju, Naju, Damyang, Yeonggwang, and Hwasun, which is higher than yesterday.


Waves on the sea will reach about 0.5 meters in the coastal waters of the West and South Seas. Fine dust concentrations in both Gwangju and Jeonnam are expected to remain at 'moderate' levels.


An official from the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration said, "Morning temperatures in most areas of Gwangju and Jeonnam will be around -3 degrees Celsius, and with the wind blowing, the perceived temperature will be even lower, so please take care of your health."
