This manual was prepared to protect public officials and systematically respond to illegal acts by civil complainants.

The manual contains detailed information on △Basic matters for responding to civil complaints △Special civil complaint response guidelines △Related forms and laws.

In particular, it was created to reduce the burden during the civil complaint handling process by including specific response measures for various situations so that civil complaint officers can quickly utilize it on-site.

Namyangju City plans to enhance the expertise and strengthen the capabilities of civil complaint officers by conducting special civil complaint response training and job training alongside the manual distribution.

Additionally, to provide prompt support in case of damage, the city will operate a Protection Council for Civil Complaint Handling Officers to assist the psychological and administrative recovery of affected officials and support their swift return to work.

Kim Sun-mi, the Civil Complaint Officer, said, “Through this manual and training, we hope public officials can work in a safe environment and focus on civil complaint handling tasks,” adding, “We will become a public institution that grows together through communication based on trust between citizens and public officials.”

Meanwhile, the city plans to lead efforts to create a safe working environment by monitoring damage cases to improve the protection system and provide fair civil complaint services.
