Hana Bank Delivers Blankets and Kimchi to Vulnerable Groups in Nam-gu, Gwangju

Hana Bank (President Lee Seungyeol) announced on the 24th that it had delivered donated goods to the Gwangju Namgu Volunteer Center (Chairman Ban Junghwan) to help vulnerable groups in the Namgu district of Gwangju have a warm winter.

The "2024 Sharing Warmth Donation Ceremony" was held in the auditorium on the 3rd floor of the Volunteer Center in Baegun-dong, Namgu, Gwangju, in the afternoon of the same day. The event was attended by Yang Dongwon, Deputy President of Hana Bank Honam Business Group; Hwang Kyunga, Gwangju Namgu Council Member; Ban Junghwan, Chairman of the Gwangju Namgu Volunteer Center; Kim Junghui, Head of the Volunteer Center; Lee Chunghyun, Hana Bank Gwangju Branch Manager; Oh Seungyeol, Head of Institutional Business Division; and about 30 other staff members.

The donated goods delivered by Hana Bank included 30 blankets and 100 boxes of kimchi for the winter season. These donations will be distributed to vulnerable children and elderly people in the local community.

Deputy President Yang Dongwon said, "Every year, Hana Bank continues 30 to 40 sharing activities for vulnerable groups of all ages, including underprivileged children and seniors in the region," and added, "We hope these donated goods will be of some help to those spending the cold winter."

Chairman Ban Junghwan said, "We are grateful to Hana Bank for delivering donated goods for the vulnerable in our community despite the difficult economic situation," and added, "We will make sure these goods are well delivered so that the elderly can spend the cold days warmly."
