Kim Dong-yeon, Governor of Gyeonggi Province, criticized Rep. Yoon Sang-hyun of the People Power Party (Incheon Dong-gu Michuhol-gu Eul), who led farmers with tractors to Seoul and called for the arrest and detention of President Yoon Seok-yeol, saying that "a club is the answer" and stated, "The rebellion is still ongoing," insisting that "thorough punishment is the answer."
On the 24th, Governor Kim posted on his social media (SNS), "(Rep. Yoon Sang-hyun) said he bought a baseball bat during martial law, and now he is talking about clubs," expressing regret by saying, "The rebellion is still ongoing, and thorough punishment is the answer."

Earlier, on the 23rd, Rep. Yoon Sang-hyun posted on his SNS under the title "Collapsed public authority, a heavy blow must be dealt to the rioters," stating, "The tractor protest by the Min(ju) Labor Union and Jeonnong in downtown Seoul last weekend and the clash with the police was a shocking incident that incapacitated public authority and seriously threatened citizens' safety and public order."
He particularly claimed, "A club is the answer to the rioters who undermine public authority and threaten the safety of the people."
