Soonchunhyang University announced on the 25th that nine professors from Soonchunhyang University were selected for the "Top 2% Scientists in the World" list jointly published by Stanford University in the United States and the publishing company Elsevier.
The "Top 2% Scientists in the World" list is selected annually based on various indicators such as the number of papers, citations, H-index, and academic field rankings across 22 major academic fields and 174 subfields.
This year, Soonchunhyang University professors Kim Dong-su from the Department of Industrial and Information Systems Engineering, Kim Ja-heon from the Department of Chemistry, Min Kyung-min from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Park Kyung-won from the Department of Chemical Engineering, Shim Ga-yong from the Department of Biomedical Systems, Shim Eun-ha from the Department of Mathematics, Choi Woo-jin from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Han Kyung-do from the Department of Information Statistics and Actuarial Science, and Han Yo-seop from the Department of Electronic Information Engineering were recognized for their research achievements and academic influence and included in the list.
