Meanwhile, for this sunrise event, an event vessel capable of carrying about 500 passengers will depart from the Samhakdo dock, operate near the Mokpo New Port, and offer a variety of attractions.
The Mokpo Maritime Police plans to maintain a seamless maritime safety management system by actively sharing information between sea and land, including police substations, patrol vessels, and VTS, in preparation for large crowds visiting the site, and by maintaining an emergency response system.
A Mokpo Maritime Police official said, "We will be fully prepared and on duty to ensure that visitors who come to the sunrise event with excitement can welcome the year 2025, Eulsanyeon, safely and joyfully, by maintaining a readiness posture against safety accidents."
