The Hanam City Children's Center is planned to open in 2026, with a total project cost of 29.1 billion KRW. It will be expanded on a site area of 1,225㎡ within the 5,269㎡ Misa Senior Welfare Center site, with a total floor area of 4,452.94㎡, consisting of two basement floors and five above-ground floors.

Detailed facilities will include a public kids cafe, indoor playground, exhibition space, and a complex play-centered area such as a play experience room and rooftop outdoor futsal field. These are designed to support the autonomous physical development, emotional cultivation, and creativity development of infants and children.

Mayor Lee Hyun-jae stated, “Hanam City plans to prepare insufficient children-only facilities by first converting the entire first floor of the Misa Senior Welfare Center into a children-only facility, scheduled to open in January next year.” He added, “In the second phase, we will build the Children's Center to create a 'Child-Friendly City Hanam' that can support the dreams of growing children.”

Meanwhile, Hanam City plans to complete the construction of the Children's Center in 2026 and open it the same year after preliminary preparations.
