Singer and actor Lee Junho donated 100 million won to support treatment for underprivileged children and adolescents on Christmas.
On the 23rd, his agency JYP Entertainment announced that Lee Junho had delivered a donation of 100 million won to Samsung Seoul Hospital. The funds will be used for surgeries, transplants, rehabilitation treatments, and emotional support programs for pediatric and adolescent patients. Lee established a connection with Samsung Seoul Hospital through a volunteer music concert organized by JYP Entertainment. At that time, he participated in the concert and visited the hospital ward to encourage the young patients.
Through his agency, Lee said, "I joined in sharing to give back the love I received during Christmas and to hope that children who need treatment can spend a warm year-end. I wish that in the coming new year, more children can grow up healthy and dream." He added, "I want to continue to show interest and love to places that need helping hands."
Lee also became a member of the Honor Society of the Fruit of Love, a group of high-value donors who have donated over 100 million won this year. Besides donations, he consistently expresses his heart through volunteer work and sponsorship activities across society.
Since supporting children in Ethiopia and Ghana in 2011, Lee has built a relationship with the international relief and development NGO World Vision. He was officially appointed as a World Vision ambassador in 2012 and has actively participated in various campaigns. Additionally, during his solo concerts held in 2015, 2017, and 2024, he set up booths to promote child sponsorship programs, encouraging fan participation and fostering a healthy culture of sharing.
In 2019, he donated to the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association to support relief supplies and recovery efforts for the wildfire-affected areas in Gangwon Province. In the same year, he donated vehicles for users of facilities for people with severe disabilities in Seocho-gu, Seoul. Furthermore, he continued his good deeds by providing emergency relief funds to World Vision in 2020 to help children struggling due to COVID-19.
Former 2PM member Lee Junho has built his filmography through various movies and dramas, becoming a leading actor by consecutively succeeding in dramas such as The Red Sleeve and King the Land. His next project, the Netflix series Cashier, is scheduled for release next year. On January 25 and 26, he will hold a fan concert titled ‘2025 Lee Junho FAN-CON’ (Midnight Sun) at the Inspire Arena in Incheon, continuing his active career.
