Actress Kim Bu-seon criticized the martial law situation by comparing President Yoon Seok-yeol and Lee Jae-myung, the leader of the Democratic Party of Korea.

On the 22nd, Kim Bu-seon conducted a live broadcast on her YouTube channel 'Kim Bu-seon TV.' She first revealed, "The income I earn from YouTube is about 100,000 won per month," and claimed, "I almost made a glamorous debut and walked the Silk Road, but I was politically witch-hunted during the military dictatorships of Chun Doo-hwan and Roh Tae-woo." She then said, "(The situation) is noisy. But it will soon be settled," while reading real-time comments and interacting with viewers.

During the broadcast, when Kim Bu-seon was criticized with remarks like "Do you have nothing to say except about Lee Jae-myung?" and "What would you have done if Lee Jae-myung wasn't around?" she responded, "If Jae-myung became president, would he impose martial law like Yoon Seok-yeol?" and asked back, "Would anyone do as much as Yoon Seok-yeol and Kim Geon-hee?" Upon seeing comments mentioning her relationship with Lee Jae-myung, she said, "Have you seen what kind of relationship I have with Lee Jae-myung?" and added, "Do you know Bu-seon? If you don't want to be sued for false accusation, don't act foolishly." Regarding opinions telling her not to talk about politics, she responded sharply, "I am the actress who has suffered the most politically," and said, "I am in my 60s. What do I have to be ashamed of?" She further added, "Did I manipulate stock prices like Kim Geon-hee? Did I falsify my academic background? Did I lie about being in my first marriage when it was a remarriage? You should be ashamed."

Furthermore, Kim Bu-seon commented on the December 3 martial law situation, saying, "It's not about progressives or conservatives, but about the president and his wife using power with our taxes," and criticized, "It’s suffocating. How uneducated must they be to do this?" She also said, "The People Power Party is not a political party but a group of interests. True conservatives admit their mistakes," and added, "Isn't the value of conservatism to uphold the rule of law and security? Yoon Seok-yeol has dug his own grave. Martial law is too harsh a criticism." Finally, she emphasized, "Mr. Yoon Seok-yeol, if you are cowardly, come out. Aren't you a prosecutor?" and said, "Follow the law and uphold the rule of law. That is the courtesy you owe to those who supported you."
