Warm Year-End Heartwarming Sharing Practice
Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam announced on the 23rd that NH Nonghyup Bank donated 'Love Heating Supplies' (worth 60 million KRW) to help underprivileged groups have a warm year-end.
On this day, NH Nonghyup Bank provided 640 bags of rice and winter blankets to help neighbors in need stay warm during the winter, which will be distributed to low-income households in the area.
Kim Gap-moon, head of NH Nonghyup Changwon Branch, said, "Although everyone is going through difficult times, we prepared rice and blankets to practice neighborly love and sharing. As Nonghyup working together with the local community, we want to be of some help to those in need," adding, "We hope this sharing becomes a small hope for our neighbors."
Jang Geum-yong, the first deputy mayor, expressed gratitude, saying, "We thank NH Nonghyup Bank for their interest and support in helping our local neighbors have a warm winter during the year-end and New Year holidays," and added, "Despite the difficult economic conditions, we will do our best to ensure that the warm hearts practicing sharing are fully delivered to those in need."
Meanwhile, NH Nonghyup Bank is leading various social contribution activities, such as donating heating supplies for underprivileged families in Changwon, rice to veterans and local child welfare facilities.
