The Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation of Kyungbok University announced on the 23rd that the Seongnae Comprehensive Social Welfare Center in Gangdong-gu, which is operated under a consignment agreement, recently received a commendation from the Mayor of Seoul for its various welfare projects aimed at the well-being of local residents and the development of community welfare.

The Seongnae Comprehensive Social Welfare Center has been operated by Kyungbok University since April 2019 under a consignment agreement with the Seoul Metropolitan Government.
Ham Do-hoon, head of the Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation at Kyungbok University, stated, "Kyungbok University operates 11 institutions entrusted by local governments to fulfill its social responsibility, which is a sustainable management goal of the university. This commendation is the result of our support and efforts to improve the welfare of local residents. Going forward, Kyungbok University will continue to provide wholehearted support for the roles and growth of the entrusted institutions."
