Gwangju Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Park Cheolhong, hereafter referred to as Gwangju Sarangui-Yeolmae) announced on the 23rd that Kim Changsuk Boutique has donated 2,175 pieces of women's clothing (worth approximately 101 million KRW) for senior citizens in the Gwangju area.
The donation ceremony, held in the afternoon at the Haengbok Naru Senior Welfare Center in Dosan-dong, Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju, was attended by Choi Seongryeol, General Director of Kim Changsuk Boutique, Park Heungcheol, Secretary General of Gwangju Community Chest of Korea, Lee Wonyoung, President of the Korea Association of Senior Welfare Centers, and other related officials. The donated items will be distributed to local senior citizens through senior welfare centers.
Choi Seongryeol, General Director, stated, "We hope this will be of great help to the vulnerable in Gwangju during the cold winter," and added, "We will continue to practice the value of sharing as a warm companion in the local community."
Park Heungcheol, Secretary General, said, "We are grateful for your willingness to participate in sharing for our neighbors despite difficult circumstances," and continued, "Sarangui-Yeolmae will continue to provide all necessary support so that local residents do not lose hope, and we will do our best to carry on the sharing campaign."
