Junam's Morning Agricultural Cooperative Corporation donated 200 bags of eco-friendly rice (10 kg each, worth approximately 7 million KRW) to Changwon City on the 23rd, requesting that it be delivered to neighbors in need at the end of the year.

The eco-friendly rice donated that day was newly harvested rice directly cultivated and milled by Junam's Morning Agricultural Cooperative Corporation, located in the eco-friendly rice cultivation complex in Dong-eup, Uichang-gu, and Daesan-myeon. The donated eco-friendly rice will be delivered to four free meal centers within Changwon City.

Kim Ikon, CEO of Junam's Morning Agricultural Cooperative Corporation, said, “Although these are difficult times for everyone, with the heart to overcome hardships together, we have donated eco-friendly rice carefully produced using eco-friendly farming methods at the Junam's Morning cultivation complex. We hope this eco-friendly rice will provide healthy and warm meals to neighbors struggling through the cold winter.”

Hong Nampyo, Mayor of Changwon City, said, “We sincerely thank Junam's Morning Agricultural Cooperative Corporation for their warm concern for neighbors in need. We will deliver this precious gift with care.”

Meanwhile, Junam's Morning Agricultural Cooperative Corporation won the ‘Grand Prize’ in the group category of the 2022 Gyeongsangnam-do Eco-friendly Ecological Agriculture Awards and directly cultivates eco-friendly rice using eco-friendly farming methods, supplying eco-friendly rice monthly to school meals in Changwon City.
