Next Year's Marketing Strategy Launches 'Goraeit Campaign'
Intended to Communicate Easily and Familiar to Customers

Emart announced on the 23rd that it will launch a new marketing policy next year called the ‘Goraeit Campaign.’ The Goraeit Campaign is a marketing strategy designed to help customers easily and familiarly recognize the price benefits offered by Emart. The plan is to accelerate core business competitiveness by providing great (Goraeit) products and prices.


Emart will name all major events, exclusive new products, and drastic price discounts scheduled for next year as ‘Goraeit.’ To help customers easily find products labeled ‘Goraeit,’ the campaign will be actively promoted through in-store notices and the Emart application (app). Through this, customers can recognize promotional products and be offered a ‘winning chance’ without failure through Goraeit products that Emart trusts and guarantees.

The Goraeit Campaign carries the meaning of ‘Until customers say yes (%), making the world Goraeit.’ It reflects the commitment to lower prices in various ways until customers are satisfied and to approach customers more closely. Goraeit is a humorous yet intuitive expression of the word Great, inspired by the whale shape that appears when rotating the letter e in Emart.


The campaign consists of four pillars. Centered around large-scale discount events like Ssuk Day, there are ▲‘Goraeit Items,’ special products available only at Emart ▲the price project ‘Yes (%) Price,’ which continuously challenges prices until customers say yes, and ▲‘eMoney Rewards’ to enhance the joy of shopping.


‘Goraeit Festa’ is a large-scale event similar to Landers Day and Ssuk Day. It provides customers with opportunities to purchase ‘essential products at reasonable prices’ amid high inflation. To meet customer demand for large events, Emart plans to hold more than five additional Goraeit Festa events annually. The first event will be the New Year event from January 1 to 5 next year. Emart will offer seasonal fruits such as Korean beef, pork belly, strawberries, eggs, home appliances, and daily necessities at drastic prices.


‘Goraeit Items’ refer to exclusive products available only at Emart. These will appear with outstanding competitiveness in various fields such as seasonal fresh foods like pork belly and Korean beef days, crab season, kimchi-making season, overseas sourced products, and exclusive collaboration products. ‘Yes (%) Price’ is a continuation of the price project Emart conducted last year. The monthly lowest-price discount event for daily necessities, ‘Price Shock Declaration,’ will continue next year.


Rewards such as eMoney will also be strengthened. eMoney is a cash-equivalent point based on the Emart app that can be used offline at Emart stores. During the Goraeit Festa period, Emart will introduce various additional reward benefits such as eMoney provision events, eMoney stamp accumulation when purchasing Goraeit Items, and shopping review recommendation events.


Jung Yang-oh, Head of Emart Strategic Marketing Division, said, “The 2025 Goraeit Campaign is a new attempt to make Emart’s product and price innovations easier and more convenient for customers to recognize, enabling them to receive drastic benefits without missing out.” He added, “Emart will continue to mobilize all the know-how accumulated so far and strive to help customers truly feel the reduction in their shopping basket costs through various plans.”
