Create 'Catch' Character by Selecting Keywords
Anyone Can Participate via Toss App Event Channel

LG Uplus and Viva Republica, the operator of the mobile financial service 'Toss,' announced on the 23rd that they will launch a joint campaign utilizing artificial intelligence (AI).

When Toss app users select three keywords symbolizing this year, LG Uplus's self-developed AI, 'Ixy,' creates an annual memoir with Toss's original character 'Catch.' Users can save this as an image or share it on social networking services (SNS).


For example, when a customer selects specific keywords, Ixy analyzes them and generates character images such as 'Love-struck Energizer Catch' or 'My Own Money Stylish Catch.'


Earlier, the two companies formed an AI technology partnership and agreed to jointly promote content marketing using AI. Through this campaign, LG Uplus also plans to promote the AI call agent service 'Ixyo,' which utilizes Ixy technology.


Anyone can participate in the campaign by accessing the event channel within the Toss app. Starting with this campaign, LG Uplus plans to collaborate with Toss to enable Toss customers to experience various applications of Ixy technology within the app.


Kim Hee-jin, head of LG Uplus Integrated Brand Marketing Team, said, "We will continue to collaborate with various brands to showcase LG Uplus's AI technology to many customers and advance as an AX company that drives customer growth."
