Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, visited the large Red Road R1 air dome on the afternoon of December 21, where the event "Let's Play with Mom and Dad on Christmas" was held.
"Let's Play with Mom and Dad on Christmas" is a winter program prepared by Mapo District to warm the cold winter with the warmth of family affection.
About 100 family members, including children in elementary school or older, participated in the event, with up to four members per family.
The event began at 2 p.m. at Red Road with an opening ceremony, followed by making family hope messages and a photo-taking mission.
Afterward, participating families moved to the Hongik University gymnasium, where they formed teams and strengthened family harmony through family sports activities such as ball rolling, board flipping, and curling.
After confirming their family love through the family sports event, participants enjoyed the Christmas atmosphere to the fullest by singing carol medleys together in the Red Road air dome after dinner, watching a magic show, and making balloon trees.
During the final recreation time, the whole family enjoyed games and created happy memories. Especially at this time, Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, appeared unexpectedly dressed as Santa, bringing the excitement of Christmas to the families.
