"Even if I have to give up my Jeonse house, I must help Yoon... This martial law is a show," claims Pastor Jeon Gwang-hoon

"Where would there be rental rooms if the country falls to North Korea?"
"The 3-day martial law is an honorable revolution"

Pastor Jeon Gwang-hoon of Sarang Jeil Church, who defended President Yoon Suk-yeol's December 3 emergency martial law and claimed that a "second martial law is necessary," appealed for more conservative group members to participate in the first weekend rally held after the passage of the impeachment motion against President Yoon Suk-yeol.

On the 20th, KBS 1TV's 'Chujeok 60 Bun' (Tracking 60 Minutes) released footage of a rally held by a conservative group in Ansan, Gyeonggi Province, on the 18th, following the passage of the impeachment motion against President Yoon Suk-yeol. Pastor Jeon, who led the rally, encouraged responses by saying, "Raise both hands and shout hooray if you think the martial law was well executed," while praising, "President Yoon has done everything he could."

"Now we must finish this in Gwanghwamun. On Saturday, 30 million of you must come out. If 30 million come out, that itself is a revolution," he raised his voice, emphasizing, "Quickly charter buses, get ten times the number of buses chartered last Saturday. I’m telling you to make reservations quickly. Even if you have to vacate a jeonse room, make the reservation. If the country falls to North Korea, where will you find jeonse rooms? Let’s help the president and work together."

Earlier, on the 16th, Pastor Jeon held a press conference hosted by the National Movement Headquarters for Setting the Republic of Korea Right (Daegukbon) at the Freedom Unification Party headquarters in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, claiming, "Half of the 192 seats won by the left-wing opposition parties in the 22nd general election are fake," and asserted, "I am convinced it was an election fraud." He said, "Everyone who gathered in Gwanghwamun last weekend were members of the Freedom Unification Party, yet only 640,000 votes came out. Who would accept this? The National Intelligence Service has known this for a long time, and President Yoon warned about it even when he was Prosecutor General."

Conservative groups including Daegukbon and the Freedom Unification Party, led by Pastor Jeon, held a rally from 1 p.m. on the 21st around Gwanghwamun, Seoul, urging opposition to President Yoon’s impeachment. On stage, Pastor Jeon claimed, "If you were to really impose martial law, soldiers would be stationed on the streets at dawn so that citizens cannot move when they wake up in the morning, and tanks would be deployed, but that did not happen. In fact, this time it was not martial law but a martial law show." Retired three-star General Jo Young-ho took the stage and said, "The Democratic Party committed budget tyranny," and "The December 3 emergency martial law was an honorable revolution."

Pastor Jeon Gwang-hoon and his associate Mr. A were reported to the police on charges of defending the December 3 emergency martial law and demanding a second martial law. The Christian Restoration Center of Peace Tree filed the complaint, stating, "Mr. A said during a talk show following the worship service on the 8th, 'In my view, even if a second or third martial law is imposed, anti-state forces must be completely eradicated from this country.'"
