Veteran Kang Kyung-nam secured his Asian Tour card.
On the 21st, at the Lakeview Resort and Golf Club (par 71, 6,897 yards) in Hua Hin, Thailand, Kang shot a 2-under 69 in the final 5th round of the Asian Tour Qualifying (Q) School Final Stage, with 5 birdies and 3 bogeys. He finished second with a total score of 19-under 336. The top 35 players in this tournament earn the right to compete in the 2025 Asian Tour season. Kang Kyung-nam has won 11 times on the Korean Professional Golfers' Association (KPGA) Tour. This year, he played in 21 KPGA Tour events and finished in the top 10 three times. His current season money ranking is 13th (?324.28 million).
Takumi Murakami (Japan) topped the Q School, finishing first at 20-under 335. For Korea, Moon Do-yeop placed third (18-under 337), and Lee Chang-woo secured his Asian Tour card by finishing tied for 28th (10-under 345). Kim Min-jun finished tied for 38th (9-under 346), while Song Min-hyun and Ok Tae-hoon ended tied for 46th (8-under 347). The 2025 Asian Tour season will kick off next January with the Philippine Open.
