Gyeonggi Transportation Corporation (President Min Kyung-sun) announced on the 20th that it held a donation ceremony for a scholarship fund of 33 million KRW on the afternoon of the 19th at Yangju City Hall, together with the Yangju Hope Scholarship Foundation (Chairman Lee Jin-gyu), NH Nonghyup Bank Yangju Branch (Branch Manager Oh Jung-soo), and related officials.

Attending the donation ceremony were Yangju Mayor Kang Soo-hyun, Gyeonggi Transportation Corporation President Min Kyung-sun, Director of Management Planning Jeong Beom-chae, Yangju Hope Scholarship Foundation Chairman Lee Jin-gyu, NH Nonghyup Bank Yangju Branch Manager Oh Jung-soo, Branch Manager Kwon Hyun-jung, and Yangju City Hall Deputy Director Chae Sun-ae, among others.
President Min Kyung-sun of Gyeonggi Transportation Corporation said, “Marking the 4th anniversary of the founding of Gyeonggi Transportation Corporation, it is especially meaningful to establish a connection with the Yangju Hope Scholarship Foundation at the end of the year,” adding, “We will continue to strive to contribute steadily to the development of education in Yangju City.”
Branch Manager Oh Jung-soo of NH Nonghyup Bank Yangju Branch stated, “Through our long-standing relationship with the Yangju Hope Scholarship Foundation, our Yangju Branch has been able to grow further through this opportunity,” and added, “We will continue to do our best to lead the ‘New Republic of Korea Nonghyup’ by fostering local talent.”
Chairman Lee Jin-gyu of the Yangju Hope Scholarship Foundation responded, “We are very grateful to NH Nonghyup Bank Yangju Branch for their continued interest in our foundation every year and to the executives and employees of Gyeonggi Transportation Corporation who have connected with us this year,” adding, “To meet your expectations, the scholarship foundation will also strive to discover and support various projects for youth.”
