Golfzon Cultural Foundation, Hope and Happiness Sharing Gift Presentation Ceremony

On the 19th, the foundation held the '2024 Hope and Happiness Sharing Gift Ceremony' at Golfzon Joymaru in Daejeon. Since its establishment in 2010, the Golfzon Cultural Foundation has held this event every year at the end of the year to support the dreams and hopes of underprivileged children in the local community. This year marks the 14th event. The heartfelt gifts will be delivered to about 2,800 children belonging to 132 child welfare facilities and child centers in the Daejeon area.

The Golfzon Cultural Foundation prepared gifts consisting of toys that children like, practical items such as stationery sets for the new school semester, and toothbrushes. These gifts were made possible by donations from Golfzon Newdin Group employees who contribute a certain amount from their monthly salaries, adding more meaning to the sharing. Kim Young-chan, chairman of the Golfzon Cultural Foundation, said, "We continuously hold the Hope and Happiness Sharing event to alleviate the emotional and cultural alienation of vulnerable groups at the end of the year," adding, "We hope this sharing becomes another driving force and hope for the children."

The event was hosted by the Golfzon Cultural Foundation and co-organized by the Golfzon Cultural Foundation and the Daejeon Metropolitan City Volunteer Center. It was also sponsored by Golfzon and other affiliates of the Golfzon Newdin Group. Since its launch in 2010, the Golfzon Cultural Foundation has supported a total of 180 million KRW annually through the community support project '2024 Golfzon Neighborly Love Happiness Sharing.' In addition, it carried out various support projects such as the '2024 Disabled Golf Festival' to promote sports for the disabled, the 'Daejeon Drawing, Dreaming Exhibition' to foster local culture and arts, and charity golf tournaments.
