Changwon Special City Awards Commendations to 6 Departments Selected as Best Dream Teams for the Second Half of the Year

Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam awarded commendations on the 20th to six departments that contributed to performance improvement and organizational culture enhancement, selecting them as the Best Dream Teams for the second half of 2024 to achieve the 'Smooth and Swift' administrative goals.

The Best Dream Teams for the second half include ▲Grand Prize (1) Women and Family Division of the Welfare, Women, and Health Bureau ▲Excellence Prize (2) Lifelong Education Division of the Autonomous Administration Bureau, Safety and Construction Division of Masanhappo-gu ▲Encouragement Prize (3) Park and Greenery Division of the Green City Project Office, Forestry and Agricultural Policy Division of Seongsan-gu, and Ungdong 1-dong of Jinhae-gu.


The Women and Family Division was highly praised for achieving the remarkable promotion of the Changwon Family Center Jinhae Branch to the 'Jinhae Family Center' after 15 years of integration in Changwon City through continuous government proposals, securing more than 500 million KRW annually in national and provincial funding, and laying the groundwork for expanding universal and comprehensive family services in the Jinhae area.


▲The Lifelong Education Division systematically supported local universities related to the selection of Glocal University 30 and established a consultative body among local government, industry, academia, and research institutions to implement the Changwon-type Education Development Special Zone plan. ▲The Safety and Construction Division of Masanhappo-gu focused on restoring illegal cultivation sites within national and public lands on the mountain roadsides to normalize urban functions.


Additionally, various departments such as the Park and Greenery Division actively participated in multiple national funding projects to create citizen-centered parks and green spaces, demonstrating efforts to achieve diverse administrative outcomes.


Hong Nampyo, Mayor of Changwon Special City, stated, “I extend my encouragement and gratitude to all employees who have devoted themselves day and night to achieving administrative goals and improving performance despite various difficult conditions,” adding, “In 2025, we will do our best together with our staff to make Changwon a hub in Northeast Asia.”


Meanwhile, Changwon Special City plans to enhance administrative competitiveness and boost employee morale by selecting Best Dream Teams semiannually, fostering an environment where hardworking employees are valued.
