Pocheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Young-hyun) announced on the 20th that it is recruiting participants for the "4th Term Pocheon City Youth Policy Supporters 2025" until January 20, 2025.

The Pocheon City Youth Policy Supporters is a communication body operated to encourage active social participation of youth and to promote policies that youth can directly experience.
Any youth aged 19 to 49 who reside or are active in Pocheon City and are interested in youth policies can apply.
Selected supporters will carry out various activities related to youth policies for about one year, including ▲ presenting opinions on youth policies ▲ participating in policy-related events such as youth forums and youth festivals ▲ promoting youth policies.
The city supports meeting attendance allowances and social network service (SNS) promotion activity expenses for members active as youth policy supporters, and issues certificates of completion to members who participate in more than 70% of activities. In addition, outstanding supporters will be selected at the end of the year and awarded the mayor’s commendation.
Youth wishing to participate in the Youth Policy Supporters can refer to the announcement posted on the Pocheon City website, fill out the application form, and submit it via email.
A Pocheon City official said, “The Youth Policy Supporters play an important role in allowing youth to voice their opinions on policies directly and create change,” and added, “We look forward to the interest and participation of many young people.”
