The Gwangju Metropolitan Office of Education held the "2024 Our School Promotion Team Performance Sharing Event."
According to the Office of Education on the 20th, the "Our School Promotion Team" was formed with elementary, middle, and high school students under the initiative of "We promote our school ourselves." Since its inauguration ceremony in May, the team has been actively promoting Gwangju education policies by directly posting news about their schools on social media.
This performance sharing event was organized to share the outcomes of their activities and to discover various cases through communication among the team members.
The event proceeded in the following order: a congratulatory video message from Gwangju Education Ambassador Cha Sunwoo, a viewing of a video summarizing the activities of the Our School Promotion Team, an award ceremony for outstanding students presented by the Superintendent of Education, sharing of promotional activity outcomes, and a paper airplane performance filled with dreams.

I felt proud introducing special places and events at my school, and I was able to broaden my perspective by learning about the diverse news from other schools."

Superintendent Lee Jungseon said, "I hope that, moving forward, we will continue to promote a variety of content that embodies the values of communication and empathy, and together envision the future of Gwangju education."
