Dobong-gu, Free Snow Sledding Park Opens December 27, Operates Until February 2 Next Year
Various Activities Prepared Including Snow Sled Slides, Snow Playground, Ice Fish Experience...Open Tuesday to Sunday from 10 AM to 5 PM, Closed on Mondays

Dobong-gu (Mayor Oh Eon-seok) will operate a free sledding park for children and adolescents in the area from December 27 this year to February 2 next year at the Sungkyunkwan University baseball field site (30, Dobong-ro 168-gil).


This year is also filled with fun attractions. Various play facilities such as a 7m and 3.5m high sledding slide and a snow playground, as well as experience programs like icefish catching, baseball throwing, and balloon popping, have been prepared.


Events for family visitors such as Santa performances, igloo experiences, and puppet shows are also arranged, along with convenience facilities including rest areas to warm up and snack bars offering various foods.


The operating hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. every Tuesday through Sunday, and the facility is closed every Monday for safety inspections.

Admission and sled tube rental are free when using the sledding park, but separate fees apply for various play facilities and experience programs. Admission for residents of other districts is 2,000 KRW.


As a large crowd is expected, safety personnel will be stationed throughout the event site, and emergency medical staff will be on duty in the infirmary to prepare for accidents. Additionally, pets are prohibited to ensure the safety of children.


Oh Eon-seok, Mayor of Dobong-gu, said, “We have prepared a variety of play facilities to give meaningful memories to children and adolescents in the area this winter. We have paid close attention to both safety and hygiene, so please do not worry and have a fun time.”
