Doosan Construction to Supply 548-Unit Residential-Commercial Complex Apartment in Namyangju, Gyeonggi

'CentralN49 Development Project' Construction Contract
Contract Amount of 261 Billion KRW

Doosan Construction will supply a residential-commercial complex apartment with 548 households in Namyangju-si, Gyeonggi Province.


Doosan Construction announced on the 19th that it signed a contract on the 18th for the 'CentralN49 Residential-Commercial Complex Development Project' in Namyangju-si, Gyeonggi Province.

The CentralN49 development project is a public-private joint PFV project including Namyangju Urban Corporation, and is a development-type project led by a public institution. The contract amount is 261 billion KRW. The project site is located at 660-6, Pyeongnae-dong, Namyangju-si, where three buildings with 5 basement floors to 49 above-ground floors will be constructed, comprising 548 apartment units and commercial facilities. Upon completion, it will be the tallest building in Namyangju-si.


The project site is in the immediate vicinity of Pyeongnae-Hopyeong Station on the Gyeongchun Line, and with the promotion of the GTX (Great Train Express) Line B in the metropolitan area, accessibility to central business districts such as Seoul Station and Yeouido will be dramatically improved. Nearby the complex are the Pyeongnae-Hopyeong central commercial district and academy area, and within a 1 km radius, the establishment of a Gyeonggi public medical center with over 300 beds has been confirmed, providing an excellent residential environment.


Doosan Construction has been continuously successful in securing contracts. On the 3rd, it completed the contract for the 'Mochung 1 District Redevelopment Maintenance Project' located in Sajik-dong, Seowon-gu, Cheongju-si, Chungbuk Province. This project involves constructing apartments and neighborhood living facilities with 9 buildings ranging from 3 basement floors to 29 above-ground floors, totaling 838 households. The contract amount is 229 billion KRW. Within a 500m radius are Sajik Elementary School, Cheongju Girls' Middle School, Cheongbuk Girls' Middle School, and Munho High School, making it a highly preferred residential area.


On the 10th, Doosan Construction was selected as the preferred negotiator for the 'Seongnam City Environmental Restoration Center Private Investment Project,' in which it participates as a joint contractor. This project relocates the Seongnam Water Quality Restoration Center (Bokjeong-dong sewage treatment plant) to the Tancheon riverside area and undergrounds the sewage treatment facilities. The upper space will be developed into parks and sports facilities for residents. Doosan Construction's contract amount is approximately 111 billion KRW out of the total contract amount.


Doosan Construction stated, “We are securing various projects with confirmed profitability through selective bidding based on data, and we expect new orders to reach 3 trillion KRW and order backlog to reach around 10 trillion KRW by the end of the year. We will enhance customer satisfaction through thorough quality control and sincere construction.”
