Pyeongtaek City in Gyeonggi Province is launching a win-win ecosystem creation initiative for revitalizing the local economy in collaboration with the Pyeongtaek Chamber of Commerce and local businesses. On the 19th, Pyeongtaek City held a meeting with representatives from the Pyeongtaek Chamber of Commerce and local companies at the city hall's comprehensive situation room.

At the meeting, concerns over domestic and international economic uncertainties and economic slowdown were discussed, focusing on increasing the purchase of products from local companies and local agricultural products through cooperation between the city and the Pyeongtaek Chamber of Commerce.

Additionally, attendees agreed to establish a win-win cooperation model among local businesses to create an ecosystem where economic actors such as large corporations and small and medium-sized enterprises can coexist. They also decided to develop a platform supporting joint purchasing and marketing to carry out concrete action plans such as campaigns to promote local product sales. Issues faced by companies due to heavy snowfall were also discussed during the meeting.

Jung Jang-seon, Mayor of Pyeongtaek, stated, "The city will make every effort to recover the economy using all available means," adding, "We will closely cooperate with the Pyeongtaek Chamber of Commerce to support businesses for the recovery of the people's economy."

Lee Kang-seon, Chairman of the Pyeongtaek Chamber of Commerce, responded, "We will actively participate in city policies to ensure that this economic stabilization measure is effectively implemented."
