[Special Stock] Sonide Gains on Expectations of Benefits from Ukraine Reconstruction Projects

SonyD is showing strength. This is interpreted as being influenced by the possibility of the end of the Russia-Ukraine war and expectations for reconstruction projects.

On the same day, the CTT Research Center stated, "Donald Trump, the President-elect of the United States, pledged during his campaign to end the war between Ukraine and Russia immediately upon election. Even after being elected, he has strongly expressed his intention to end the war," adding, "A special envoy for peace negotiations is scheduled to visit Ukraine and Europe in early January next year. It is expected that peace and reconstruction projects will rapidly progress around January 20, the inauguration day of President-elect Trump."

In fact, according to Reuters, Keith Kellogg, the special envoy for Ukraine and Russia appointed by Trump, is scheduled to visit European countries including Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, Rome in Italy, and Paris in France early next month.

Meanwhile, SonyD’s subsidiary SonyD AI is developing explosive and landmine detection robots (quadruped, 4×4, 6×6, and caterpillar types) capable of automatic patrols in hazardous areas using autonomous driving technology.

The core of this detection robot development is utilizing Apollon (model name: KED-7), a next-generation explosive and landmine detector based on nano-optical sensor technology owned by SonyD AI. SonyD AI explained, "The KED-7, developed by applying nano-optical sensor technology, has a very high detection rate for both metallic and non-metallic landmines."

Additionally, SonyD AI is reviewing the possibility of technical cooperation with PIAP, a robot-specialized institution under the Polish state research institute. PIAP has formed a partnership with Defense Korea, a subsidiary of SonyD, and various forms of cooperation can be discussed in the future according to the needs of both parties.
