Support measures have been established to assist low-income households in Yeoncheon-gun, Gyeonggi Province, with fire damage recovery. This agreement was promoted to reduce the economic burden on low-income households caused by fire and to support the rapid return to daily life for affected families.
The agreement involves representative local construction waste disposal companies such as Geonyong Environment Development Co., Ltd., Berwon Co., Ltd., Sinjanto Development Co., Ltd., C.S. Co., Ltd., and Jungdong Environment Co., Ltd. According to the agreement, the Environmental Protection Division will support the reporting of damage by target households and connect them with construction waste disposal companies, while the companies will process construction waste caused by fires in low-income households free of charge.
A Yeoncheon-gun official stated, “We signed this agreement to alleviate even a little of the difficulties faced by low-income households due to fire,” and emphasized, “We will continue to prepare various measures to further strengthen the safety net of the local community.”
