This project is a long-standing wish of the residents of Gasan-myeon. To alleviate the frequent congestion on Provincial Road No. 360 between Hasong-u Village and Masan-ri, Gyeonggi Province is investing a total of 74.4 billion KRW to construct a road 20 meters wide (4 lanes) and 3.59 km long. The project is scheduled for completion in September 2029.

Mayor Baek Young-hyun continuously consulted with Gyeonggi Province to promptly resolve the traffic inconveniences faced by local residents. He requested the priority opening of the route improvement section from the rice processing plant to Hasong-u Village, and the Northern Road Division of Gyeonggi Province actively reflected Pocheon City's opinions, resulting in the temporary opening this year.

Leaders of organizations in Gasan-myeon who attended the on-site inspection said, “This project has been a long-standing wish of the residents. We express our gratitude to Pocheon City and Gyeonggi Province for their proactive administration, which allowed part of the frequently congested section to open first.” They also requested follow-up measures such as signal system improvements and the operation of variable lanes.

Mayor Baek Young-hyun of Pocheon City stated, “We will carefully review the opinions presented by local residents and work closely with Gyeonggi Province to ensure the project is completed as soon as possible.”
