DB Kim Joon Ki Cultural Foundation Donates 50 Million Won School Development Fund to Gwangju Gwangil Middle School

Gwangil Middle School, located in Docheok-myeon, Gwangju-si, Gyeonggi Province, announced on the 18th that it received a school development fund of 50 million KRW from the DB Kim Jun-ki Cultural Foundation to replace old musical instruments that have been in use for over 10 years.

At the donation ceremony, DB Group Executive Director Kim Tae-san and his party expressed their congratulations on Gwangil Middle School Wind Orchestra’s consecutive wins of the grand prize at the Gyeonggi-do Youth Wind Music Festival since 2023 and praised their impressive performance at the World Wind Conference Fringe Concert last summer. They stated their hope that the orchestra, representing the region’s wind music clubs, will continue to develop further and contribute to students’ education and leisure activities.
