The selection for the ‘Outstanding Institution for Utilizing the Mobile Health Center System’ was based on evaluation criteria such as the utilization rate of pre/post-assessments through the mobile health center system and the number of uses of the mobile health center system per target individual, extracting data to assess the utilization by each health institution.

The ‘AI·IoT-based Senior Health Management Project’ was initiated to establish a sustainable non-face-to-face health management service system for seniors whose access to health promotion services declined after COVID-19. Yangpyeong-gun was selected for the Ministry of Health and Welfare’s public contest in October 2022 and has been implementing the project since July last year. This year, 420 participants were recruited, and customized health management services were provided according to the health status of the participants using AI·IoT technology and health measurement devices. This year, health management using AI robots for health-vulnerable elderly living alone has been added, actively promoting health management projects through smart technology.

Baem Myeong-seok, Director of the Health Center, said, “The AI·IoT-based Senior Health Management Project is a specialized non-face-to-face health management service provided to seniors in the Yangpyeong area who have reduced medical accessibility due to old age and mobility difficulties. We will do our best to ensure that all seniors can enjoy a healthy and happy old age.”
