Jeonnam Province Holds Communication and Empathy Conference for Youth Leaders

Pledge for Cooperative Support of Youth's Happy Growth
'Move the Heart' Relay Lectures Also Held

On the 18th, Jeollanam-do held the 2024 Youth Leader Communication and Empathy Conference at the Namak Sky Wedding Convention in cooperation with the Jeonnam Youth Future Foundation, aiming to work together for the happy growth of youth.

At the Communication and Empathy Conference, over 300 participants, including Kim Yungrok, Governor of Jeollanam-do, Kim Taegyun, Chairman of the Jeonnam Provincial Council, the President of the Jeonnam Youth Training Facilities Association, the President of the Jeonnam Youth Counseling Support Association, and the President of the Jeonnam Youth Leaders Association, gathered to explore ways to foster the dreams and hopes of Jeonnam youth.

The event received a great response from youth leaders, featuring commendations for outstanding youth leaders, a screening of the 2024 Jeonnam Youth Leaders Activity Video, and the "Move the Heart" relay lecture to promote communication and empathy.

In addition, six outstanding youth leaders, including Kim Mideok, a counselor at the Jindo-gun Youth Counseling and Welfare Center, received commendations for their contributions, and five excellent organizations, including the Yeonggwang-gun Out-of-School Youth Support Center, were honored with the Governor's Award.

Governor Kim Yungrok stated, "This is an important occasion to open the way for the happy growth of Jeonnam youth together with youth leaders, who are strong guardians of our youth," and added, "I hope that with the dedication and efforts of youth leaders, Jeonnam youth can leap beyond Korea and into the world."
