Gyeongnam Yangsan Hybrid Mini Cluster (Chairperson Seo Young-ok) donated 15 million KRW in neighborly aid funds to Yangsan City.
The Yangsan Hybrid Mini Cluster is a private-led industry-academia-research consortium that collaborates with 35 companies including Fine Technology, Dongwon Science and Technology University, and Korea Institute of Industrial Technology to discover R&BD joint projects and promote commercialization, aiming to strengthen the innovation capabilities of the industrial complex.
This donation was made from membership fees accumulated over the past decade.
Chairperson Seo Young-ok said, “Our goal has been to lead the development of local industries and grow together with the local community. We have experienced that sharing leads to more sharing and spreads further. I hope today’s donation will also help raise the temperature of love.”
Mayor Na Dong-yeon expressed gratitude, saying, “Thank you for the many contributions to the development of local industries by uniting the strength of companies. Since this donation was made from membership fees collected by corporate members, its value is great.”
The donated funds will be delivered to vulnerable groups through the local townships and neighborhoods.
