Doosan Construction announced on the 18th that it has donated 10 million KRW to Cheonan City for the housing-vulnerable groups in the Cheonan area.

The donation ceremony held at Cheonan City Hall was attended by Cha Myung-guk, Director of Welfare and Culture Bureau of Cheonan City, Oh Se-uk, Executive Director of Doosan Construction, and Yoo Hyo-ju, a professional golfer of the Doosan Construction We’ve Golf Team.

The donated funds will be designated to the Cheonan City Housing Welfare Comprehensive Support Center and used for the Saekkumteo Project, a housing environment improvement initiative aimed at eliminating blind spots in housing welfare. The Saekkumteo Project is a demand-centered housing environment improvement program promoted by Cheonan City to realize housing welfare without blind spots, complementing the existing government-led housing renovation projects.


Doosan Construction raised the donation from the “Doosan Construction Usuri Donation Fund,” which collects the small change from employees’ salaries.


Doosan Construction stated, "We are pleased to provide practical help to those in housing welfare blind spots. We will continue various social contribution activities to become a company that practices social responsibility management."
