Samse Korea Signs 5 Test Equipment Contracts Worth a Total of 7 Billion Won

SamS Korea, a specialized company in secondary battery testing equipment and wafer carrier manufacturing, announced on the 18th that it has successfully signed five testing equipment contracts totaling approximately 7 billion KRW. These contracts include secondary battery testing equipment and anechoic chambers (performance testing rooms) for vehicle systems and components.

Regarding the secondary battery testing equipment contracts, three contracts have been consecutively signed this month, supplying equipment worth a total of 4.12 billion KRW. The equipment includes ▲Pack Cycler (equipment for testing battery packs with voltages over 100V) and ▲Battery Lab (comprehensive testing equipment for various types of batteries).

According to the company, the supplied equipment will be used by the largest domestic and international secondary battery testing agencies. It is expected to contribute to the establishment of an advanced testing environment.

Additionally, for the vehicle system and component anechoic chamber contracts, two confirmed contracts as of the 18th will supply equipment worth a total of 2.94 billion KRW. This equipment will be utilized in the powertrain component testing process of a domestic company affiliated with a global automobile manufacturer.

The equipment consists of laboratories where engines, transmissions, exhaust systems, oil systems, fuel systems, and drive systems are installed and operated to measure various performance metrics, composed of anechoic chambers and related systems.

A representative from SamS Korea stated, "SamS Korea has extensive experience and manufacturing know-how in secondary battery testing equipment and vehicle testing equipment, including electric vehicles. Being recognized for our technological capabilities and equipment manufacturing expertise, we are currently developing various new testing equipment tailored to the development of new secondary battery products incorporating new technologies."

He added, "In the vehicle and home appliance testing equipment sector, we are developing new products that can apply eco-friendly refrigerants, and continuous sales growth is expected. We will contribute to industrial development by providing customized equipment and solutions that meet customer demands."
