Recently, in civil engineering and architectural sites, cases where business owners and safety managers face criminal punishment due to safety accidents and serious disasters have frequently occurred, highlighting the importance of quality assurance and safety management at construction sites.

Accordingly, Paju City prepared training to strengthen the capabilities for ensuring construction quality and safety based on the "Ordinance on Prevention of Defective Construction Work in Paju City" to manage safe construction sites.

This training focused on providing practical knowledge necessary for site management, including ▲ introduction of defective construction cases ▲ preventive measures against defective construction that supervisors should know. The purpose is to raise awareness about safety management.

Mayor Kim Kyung-il of Paju City stated, "Paju City will strengthen the capabilities of public officials in charge of construction work by promoting the 'Construction Work Defect Prevention Training' twice a year in cooperation with the Construction Technology Education Center."

Meanwhile, in April, Paju City enacted the "Ordinance on Prevention of Defective Construction Work in Paju City," enhancing the system to create a safe and transparent construction environment by establishing a Defective Construction Prevention Committee, sanctioning defective construction companies, and providing rewards for reporting defective construction.
