On the 17th, the Special Investigation Unit of the National Police Agency explained, "Recently, we applied for a warrant to check the server for several suspects and witnesses, but it was dismissed." The reason for dismissal was that the necessity of the search and seizure was not recognized.
The search warrant included Director Yeo, Army Chief of Staff Park An-su, Capital Defense Command Commander Lee Jin-woo, Special Warfare Command Commander Kwak Jong-geun, and Intelligence Command Commander Moon Sang-ho, among others.
The confidential phone is issued and managed by the Security Office. The confidential phone is a secure mobile phone equipped with anti-tapping and call recording prevention programs, and the related server data is a key clue in the investigation.
