Pullim Film Presents Shortcha and Short-Form Drama

As the popularity of short-form content surges, new changes are emerging in the drama market. In particular, domestic online video services (OTT) are competing to introduce short-form dramas, proving that the content consumption trend is shifting from 'long-form' to 'short-form.'

Amid this trend, short-form drama production company Pullim Film announced that it will collaborate with the newly launched short drama platform 'Shotcha' by domestic OTT Watcha, which debuted in September this year, to produce new dramas. The new work that Pullim Film will present through Shotcha is I Became the Wife of a Cult Leader (directed by An Sohui, written by Lee Myunghoon), which has completed filming and is scheduled to be released in the first quarter of next year.

Pullim Film has solidified its position in the short-form drama market by producing and presenting more than 15 short-form dramas, including Raising a Hikikomori Chaebol, Blue Complex, The Secret of the Class President and Vice President, Where Is Your Destination?, Contract School Attendance, Seowon Girls' High School Night Security Manual, MBTI Game, Stepmom Is a Bully, and Love Apocalypse.

In particular, Love Apocalypse attracted attention by ranking first for four consecutive weeks on the short-form specialized platform Vigloo, and Stepmom Is a Bully and MBTI Game also succeeded in the box office by ranking high on Vigloo's 'Today's TOP10.' These achievements have served as an opportunity for Pullim Film to be recognized as a production company with planning and production capabilities in short-form content.
