Jung Yura Targets Jaurim's Japan Concert News

Jung Yura, the daughter of Choi Seo-won (formerly Choi Soon-sil), criticized Kim Yuna of Jaurim, who is holding a concert in Japan. On the 18th, Jung posted on her social media (SNS) the reservation page for Jaurim's concert in Japan scheduled for February next year, writing, "Kim Yuna unnie going to perform in her hometown, which they call Japanese hell." She continued, "A classy woman who goes to Japan, eats sushi, and criticizes Fukushima," and sarcastically added, "People have to live in this world speaking contradictory words like that. I respect you. You're cool. I mean it."

Jung also said, "Because of this unnie, I really started to doubt for the first time whether Japanese sushi is really problematic," and criticized, "As expected, she is a true patriot who sacrifices herself to remind us of the dangers of contaminated water." Additionally, Jung posted a photo of Kim Yuna visiting a sushi restaurant in Osaka on the travel variety show 'One Night Food Trip' and said, "I, who have only been to Japan once in 10 years while living there, am called a pro-Japanese collaborator, but Yuna unnie, who lives like this, is called a patriot. What is this?"

Previously, Kim Yuna spoke out about the discharge of contaminated water from Fukushima, Japan, last year. She wrote, "For the past few days, I have been engulfed in anger. The dystopia of the movie 'Blade Runner' + 4 years is beginning to become reality," and described it as "the scene of LA (Los Angeles, USA) in the movie where radioactive rain does not stop and no light comes through." She also posted a photo with the words 'RIP (Rest in peace) Earth (地球)'.

After the post was uploaded, Jung strongly criticized, "Am I not understanding because I only graduated middle school? Does Japan not live on Earth? If you say RIP Earth, then where do Japanese people live? Do Japanese people have collective immunity to radiation? Is it okay to call Japan a war criminal for marine pollution without even answering this simple question?" At that time, Kim Yuna's agency stated, "This was never intended to express a political stance but was a concern and regret about environmental pollution." Meanwhile, Jaurim will hold a solo concert in Shibuya, Tokyo, from February 1 to 2 next year. This will be the first concert held in Japan in Jaurim's 27 years since debut.
