Contribution to Local Economic Revitalization and Social Responsibility Activities
Uiryeong-gun, Gyeongnam, awarded commendations on the 17th to outstanding businesspeople and exemplary workers who have brightened the local economy this year.
For their contributions to revitalizing the local economy through employment increase, labor-management cooperation, investment, and social contribution activities, CEO Son Dongsik of 3S Co., Ltd. and CEO Nam Seonghyeon of Solto were selected as outstanding businesspeople.
CEO Son Dongsik is the CEO of 3S, a small but strong company selected by the Ministry of Employment and Labor, manufacturing ship-related equipment. He has grown the company into a representative local enterprise and fulfills social responsibilities such as donating scholarships for nurturing local talent and volunteering for neighbors in need.
CEO Nam Seonghyeon is the CEO of Solto Engineering, which manufactures railway vehicle parts. He is fulfilling his responsibilities as an employer by actively striving to improve employee welfare and working conditions, focusing not only on domestic but also overseas exports, making the company a promising local business.
Meanwhile, exemplary workers recognized for their contributions to local economic development through productivity improvement, increased overseas exports, and harmony among employees include Director Jeong Jeomsang of KYM Tech and Assistant Manager Kim Minjun of Solto.
Deputy Governor Choi Jinhoi expressed deep gratitude, saying, “We sincerely thank you for contributing to the revitalization of the local economy and social contributions amid difficult economic conditions,” and added, “Uiryeong-gun will also spare no support for the continuous growth and development of enterprises.”
