Cheongsong-gun Hosts Gyeongbuk Sarangui Yeolmae Visiting Merit Award Ceremony and Warm Winter Support Event

On the 17th, Cheongsong-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, held the '2024 Gyeongbuk Love Fruit Visiting Meritorious Award Ceremony' and the 'Warm Winter Delivery Ceremony,' hosted by the Gyeongbuk Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Jeon Woo-heon), at the first conference room of the county office.

At the event, donors and volunteer members who practiced warm donations and good deeds were commended, and a delivery ceremony for winter heating cost support was also held.

The awards were given in two categories: the Governor's Commendation and the Community Chest Chairman's Commendation, and a total of 79.2 million KRW (150,000 KRW per household) in winter heating support funds were delivered to 528 households.

Jeon Woo-heon, Chairman of the Gyeongbuk Community Chest of Korea, said, "I congratulate the awardees who have consistently practiced love and sharing, and the Gyeongbuk Community Chest will continue to carry out fair and responsible projects for marginalized neighbors."

Yoon Kyung-hee, the county governor, said, "Thanks to the awardees who have taken the lead in donations and volunteer activities, we were able to create a community where we live together," adding, "We expect that the winter heating support provided this time will bring a warm and happy winter to our neighbors."
