At Cheollipo Arboretum, located in Sowon-myeon, Taean-gun, Chungnam, visitors continue to arrive to enjoy the tranquil atmosphere that can only be experienced in winter.
According to Cheollipo Arboretum on the 18th, camellia flowers are in full bloom throughout the arboretum, including in the Camellia Garden and the Rare and Endangered Plant Greenhouse, attracting tourists during the winter season.
The camellia tree, a woody plant belonging to the tea family, creates a unique ambiance with its vibrant red flowers and glossy green leaves standing out against the white snow of midwinter.

Cheollipo Arboretum not only features 1,096 taxa of camellia trees as beautiful winter plants, but also boasts 566 taxa of holly trees that bear bright red, attractive berries.
As the first private arboretum in Korea and the only one that meets the sea, Cheollipo Arboretum is open year-round without holidays.
Kim Gunho, Director of Cheollipo Arboretum, said, "It's a misconception that there is nothing to see in the arboretum when the weather turns cold," and added, "I recommend visiting Cheollipo Arboretum to experience winter plants that become even more splendidly beautiful as the surroundings grow quieter."
