Boseong County Wins Three National Awards in Rural Revitalization Project Evaluation

Rural Development, Agricultural Machinery Rental and Training Fields

Boseong County, Jeollanam-do announced on the 18th that it has been selected as an outstanding institution nationwide in the fields of rural development, agricultural machinery rental project operation, and agricultural machinery education and training, as evaluated by the Rural Development Administration and the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs in 2024.

This award is particularly meaningful as it reflects the high external evaluation of Boseong County's rural revitalization policies and field-oriented administration, which have achieved tangible results.

In particular, Boseong County was recognized as the best institution nationwide in the "Outstanding Local Rural Development Institution Selection Evaluation" organized by the Rural Development Administration. The county was acknowledged as a model case for rural development projects, excelling in categories such as innovative rural guidance strategies, dissemination of practical field technologies, and implementation of agricultural work safety and disaster prevention measures.

In the "Operation of Agricultural Machinery Rental Projects" category, organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, Boseong County was praised for actively promoting policies to vitalize the rental business, such as a 50% reduction in rental fees, and effectively reflecting the needs of the rural community.

Additionally, in the "Agricultural Machinery Education and Training" category organized by the Rural Development Administration, Boseong County received high marks for providing safety education and on-site repair training for agricultural machinery to 1,147 farmers, as well as offering support for obtaining agricultural machinery licenses, thereby providing substantial assistance to the agricultural sector.
