Nowon District Mayor Oh Seung-rok Attends 2024 Nowon Social Economy Performance Sharing Meeting

On the 17th at 3:50 PM, Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon District Office in Seoul, attended the '2024 Nowon Social Economy Performance Sharing Meeting' held at the Nowon District Office auditorium.

This performance sharing meeting was organized to share the achievements of each project of the Nowon Social Economy Support Center this year and to explore future development directions.

The first part of the event was held with about 100 attendees including Mayor Oh Seung-rok, Nowon social economy organizations, and related institutions. It proceeded in the order of opening, congratulatory speeches, social economy performance reports, social economy award ceremony, and commemorative photo session.

In the second part, a charity auction of donated items from social economy organizations took place, and the proceeds will be donated to neighbors in need within the community.

Mayor Oh Seung-rok said, “I sincerely thank the social economy enterprise representatives who have shown outstanding capabilities throughout this year,” and added, “We will continue to actively support the further activation and sustainable growth of the local social economy.”

The Nowon Social Economy Support Center is the only one nationwide that has been established from Building 1 to Building 4, fostering social enterprises through specialized operations by region, greatly contributing to job creation and revitalization of the local economy.
